The Book

Who Am I?

We are moving to a model of trying to keep people at home but it is important for caregivers and nurses — anyone looking after people with dementia — to know the little things about different behaviours so that we can help to give them a bit more dignity and respect.

Who Am I? talks about many people who live with dementia. It's about recognising fear and establishing trust. It's about meeting basic needs to de-escalate behaviour.
